    Function of the Training Manager

    FH Training Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, creating educational, interesting and engaging training particularly in the area of FH Technical training and New Product Development to raise the level of technical expertise within our Engineering and Customer facing teams. The Training Manager must be proficient in training, planning and execution in class and on-line by utilizing e-learning modules and a range of training media to make the training interesting and engaging


    Principle Responsibilities:

    • Organize and deploy 5 to 6 in-class technical and product strategy trainings, ensure that all new product/technology are continuously integrated into the training                                          
    • Create/coordinate content for e-learning training modules and other methods of training including videos                                                                                                             
    • Identify training needs and create and manage training roadmap, align with BU Presidents and HR
    • Develop SCORM compliant e-learning based on content provided by a team, using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Software, and HTML development tools   
    • Work with the Engineering and MarCom teams across FH, as well as external suppliers to develop attractive training presentations and modules
    • Promote and manage (including anticipated future development) Crane's Technical Paper TP410 assets ESI (third party engineering firm)                                                                                           
    • Schedule and promote internal training globally                                                        
    • Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD); Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs, animations and Video processing software.
    • Delivering illustrative services and drawings upon request; create/upload photos, graphics, etc.
    • Working as part of a team with, copywriters, photographers, other designers, web developers, marketing specialists, IT-Department, Sales, BLMs, external agencies, and other service providers.
    • Apply Crane branding standards


    Qualifications / Experience / Personal characteristics:

    • Degree in Instructional Technology Education with technical background and 10 years of experience                                                                                                                                   
    • Ability to develop instructional materials, excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate as a remote member of a diverse team
    • Ability to leverage internal knowledge base and external support resources
    • Experience creating video and multimedia tools                                                                   
    • Ability to meet internal and external deadlines - Results driven
